The Impulsive Buy is a hilarious website where a guy reviews products with the sort of random absurdities that you’d find on [adult swim] on a regular basis. For a hilarious read, you should go back to his review of New Kids on the Block’s Summertime.
His latest review covers Twin Lotus Herbal Toothpaste, a Thai herbal toothpaste that looks like just about the grossest thing I’ve ever seen. You can read the full review here, but he also includes the following actual ad for the stuff:

racist bullshit? jesus. get real, and grow up. it’s a thai ad & needs to be viewed through the appropriate lens. it pokes fun at the longstanding racial tensions in thailand, drawing a humorous connection between the prejudice we might all have against black toothpaste (who would ever associate that with clean teeth?) and the deep-rooted racism in thai culture. thais are generally extremely prejudiced against non-asians, black people in particular. the ad is pointing out this very unfortunate aspect of their own culture and lampooning it slightly. that’s NOT racist, just racy. the commercial makes the bitchy thai mother look like the scary asshole, not the black guy. go back to school.
